It’s that time of the year. It’s Christmas. It’s a time when gifts are thought about, looked for, bought, wrapped, laid under the tree, exchanged, given, received, dreamed about—for probably the majority of folks.

It’s that time of the year. It’s Christmas. It’s a time when we must focus on the greatest gift this world has ever received; one that was laid in a lowly manger in a cave that served as an animal shelter, one that was God in human form, one that came to save us, one that was given to us to show the great love that God has for us. Yes, it was the Baby Jesus, and He didn’t come wrapped in a box with a tag that said “open me.”
He was given to us that day so that we could open our hearts to Him. He was the gift that matters today.
Merry Christmas.
